Please note due to shipping regulations these are shipped empty requiring butane.

Safety

Do not overfill the tank, if you do the flame will not activate properly and you'll have to leave it for a few hours to settle before it can be used (same as other torch lighters)
On the lowest setting no flame will be produced as this shuts the gas flow right down to almost nothing
After filling always leave it for a minute for residual gasses to dissipate
The visible maximum flame length is 12 inches but the distance at which heat exists is further so ensure there is nothing flammable in the line of fire
Blowtorches get hot at the flame end, allow it to cool before touching it
